TFP and CTS Proposal Submission
Submission of proposals for Thematically-Focused Panels (TFPs) and Cross-Thematic Sessions (CTSs) is now open and will stay open until February 1, 2018. Due to many requests, we have extended the deadline to February 15, 2018.
TFPs provide an opportunity for leading educationalists of all types – including comparativists – to present their work in ways that unfold the conference theme further and would benefit from being grouped together in sessions of three or four papers.
CTSs provide space for contributions to the conference which do not exactly fit into the conference theme, but are relevant to the broader field of comparative education (and related fields, e.g. international education policy, multicultural and intercultural education), and which would also profit from being grouped together in sessions of three or four papers.
Colleagues that wish to put together a TFP or CTS of three or four papers should submit a title and an overall description of their TFP/CTS of between 400-500 words and include the following information:
- Objectives and main questions to be addressed.
- Main perspectives and/or theoretical/conceptual frameworks.
- Description of how the session will be structured.
They should also submit the abstracts of their papers, as well as info about their institutional affiliations and contact details.
All submitted TFP and CTS proposals will be peer reviewed by members of the CESE Executive Committee and the Local Organising Committee.
Acceptance notifications will be sent by March 1, 2018, at the latest.
